Garden of Peace: Community Art Project, a Potluck for Peace Evet

YWCA Lower Cape Fear will host a community art event as part of its signature event, Potluck for Peace. The event is for children, teens, and their caregivers and will be held at YWCA Lower Cape Fear (2815 South College Road) on Thursday, July 21 at 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. YWCA’s Potluck fore Peace, Youth Edition is a chance to bring our community’s youth together to collectively work towards inclusion, equity, and justice through conversation and collaboration. Participants will partake in a community art event to build a Rock Garden of Peace, led by Helen Barnett, Arts Administrative Assistant at The Arts Council of Wilmington/New Hanover County. YWCA will provide food, music, and art supplies. All are welcome, though this event is geared towards kids from preschool through high school.
