Take broken to beautiful while creating a framed mosaic flower, or other simple design of your choice. Learn how to use thinset mortar as an adhesive as well as a design element in your finished pique assiette (broken china) mosaic. This "no grout" method of mosaic gives you that wonderful feeling of accomplishing an amazing take home project that you can proudly share. Thinset mortar mix is a fine dry powder. A mask is required for mixing. Eye protection and gloves also recommended. Breaking and cutting china requires eye protection. Gloves recommended due to sharp pieces. Instructor will have gloves and masks for those who need them. Please provide you own eye protection. Regular glasses okay. Cost is $59.00 includes 4 hour workshop with all materials and tools for an 8" X 8" framed piece. Ages 12+ with a minimum of 3 and max of 8 participants.
