URGENT!! SHELTER WILL EUTHANIZE SWEET PEPPA AT END OF BUSINESS DAY JUNE 24.....ALL BECAUSE SHE IS STRESSED IN THE KENNEL, NO REASON TO KILL HER.... Peppa is currently at Maricopa County Care and Control - East Valley location and has been given a deadline of 6/24 at end of day. This little piggie of a puggle has become stressed at the shelter and is pacing in her kennel. Can you blame her? The shelter is loud, people walking by all the time that don't take her out and she is a senior with stiff joints in a concrete kennel. The volunteers have so many great things to say about this little piggie. She loves the play pool, belly rubs, treats. She is also a lady who knows what she wants and if that is not to go on a walk, she prefers to be carried. She spent some time in an office at the shelter and overnight she was a perfect office guest, spent time sleeping and had 0 accidents. She appears to be potty trained but the dogs at the shelter don't get out every day. I am sure that could be contributing to her stress too As with most seniors she has some medical needs and has been on gabapentin for stiff joins. She also may have a little vision loss in one eye but that doesn't slow her down in the taking treats department! She loves her snacks and could use a diet actually She is a chubby 38 lbs currently.
