Beginning Friday afternoon, October 21st and concluding late afternoon, Saturday October 22nd, the conference will be held at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Kalamazoo. This unique conference includes an opening session, Breaking the Iron Cage of Poverty for CASA, a hands-on poverty simulation, and a closing session, Communicating and Relating More Effectively Across Poverty Barriers. This deep dive into poverty will challenge your biases, expand your compassion and give you insights into the daily stress of living in poverty. All CASA staff, CASA volunteers, CASA board members and child welfare partners are invited to attend this conference.
