Torn From Her Arms (2021) is a film based on the true story of a mother and daughter who arrive in the US after fleeing violence in El Salvador. After being separated at the border, they must find their way back to each other despite being in different detention centers. Join us for a screening of the film, followed by a discussion and panel about the film and its topics. We will analyze race, immigration law and what steps can be taken towards real change.
