Shipping and Receiving FULL-TIME $18/hr 7595 Montevideo Rd, Suite 200, Jessup, MD 20794 The shipping and receiving clerk is responsible for performing a variety of shipping and receiving tasks under general supervision. The shipping and receiving clerk will verify the order to match the received materials and prepare the items for proper shipment. Duties include: • Read shipping orders to determine the quantity and type of transportation needed. • Ensuring the accuracy of all shipping documents, gathering and maintaining all data relative to shipping activities. • Collecting all documentation for outboard freight and route to the proper record-keeping unit. • Picking orders for shipment and assembling various types of merchandise to be shipped. • Schedule inbound and outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations. • Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and issue instructions for loading products. • Operating equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and more safely and efficiently. • Maintaining a clean, neat, and organized work environment. • Keep an equipment checklist and perform preventative maintenance of equipment. Schedule - Shift start: 8:00AM - Shift length: 10 hours - Days: Monday-Friday, some weekends and evenings required Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance available after 90 days - Paid time off - 401k Requirements - At least 2 years of warehouse experience. - At least 1 year of forklift experience. - Ability to use a computer or tablet is a plus - Must be at least 18+ years old - Must pass drug screen - Must pass background check - Can lift 50 lbs About M S International, Inc.
