I adopted him from a family about a month ago. Hes never adjusted. Hoping someone can give him a chance. Hes super jumpy, nervy and was told he is house broken and I haven't been able to let him roam freely around the house because he's taken to going in the house, hes also shedding a lot, and whining a lot. Hoping to not put him in the shelter. Do to his many issues it might be better if you have a backyard to put him in. Hes not eating well for me and is a really hard puller on the leash. Its not a single thing but all combined which leads me to believe he'd be better off with another family. I may be adopting other pets and I also have not been successful in integrating him with my household. Due to the severity of issues you cannot bring him back if it were not to work out. Hes been affecting my sleep for the past 2 nights in a row and I have other pets and children to care for. I asked all of these things before I got him, of course and I do not blame the family, almost every good trait they told me about him is not apparent due to him not transitioning well. So sadly its as if he is simply not the same dog. This is a real burden on my family and I really hope for a positive outcome for him as well as for my family. I wish it worked out but he changed immediately upon being welcomed to my household. I've decided to devote today to securing a new home and opportunity for him, in hopes he will have a better outcome. If not, off to the shelter he goes on friday.
