Multiple Positions Open Positive and Energetic - Classic Car Restoration Mechanic - Apprentice and experienced! Do you have a high level of mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn all about classic car restoration? Open to everyone no matter your career background, semi-retired, or fresh out of school. Do you have a passion for repairing vintage cars from the 40s, 50s, or 60s? Have you rebuilt and restored things when there is not a computer to tell you what is wrong? Worked on a car or obscure thing that was built 50 years before you were even born? Do you love to understand the engineering ingenuity required to make a car move, stop, and be a pleasure to drive long before the computer was ever invented? If so you may be a classic car mechanic or apprentice and we need those. The hands-on experience of actually building, something you can be proud of is a requirement but we really don't care if you come from the airline industry or worked at a zoo! A degree in Botany or a lifetime degree in hard work does not matter to us. We care about integrity, ingenuity, a positive attitude, and actual hands-on experience building and fixing something. If you are willing to invest in yourself to learn or practice the techniques and tools of classic car restoration we are interested in speaking to you. A good resume is required to apply and please provide a few photos of any projects you have worked on. We will do an onsite hands-on working interview for qualified candidates where you will demonstrate mechanical skills. 10 days of paid vacation accruing weekly after your first 6 months! Periodic pay raises depend on your capability and demonstrated quality and work performance. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds upstairs. Must be able to stock items up staircases and use heavy tools like jacks and impact wrenches. Must be able to use automotive hand tools and electric tools like small drills or heat shrink guns.
