Description

Looking for a mechanically inclined person to relieve my full-time reefer tech for two consecutive days per each week. Applicant will inspect, fuel, and replace alternators, batteries, belts, and very seldom fuel line repairs. Must know how to use basic hand tools and battery meters. Repairs to the refrigeration system will not be required but any refrigeration knowledge is helpful. Travel will be to the railroad ramps located in Wilmer, Mesquite, and Wylie. There can be a service call at times to area locations. Service truck is equipped with parts, tools, and fuel tank required to inspect reefers. Applicant must have a valid Texas driver's license and pass a background check for the company and railroads. Must live in the Forney, Mesquite local area. This job will require being available 24-hour call out during these two days. Training will be done by the full-time tech and DFW manager. Must be dependable. Service truck is based in Forney.
