The words Christian, Christ, and Christianity do not appear in the US Constitution. This was quite deliberate, as to have done so would have contradicted the First Amendment. Being a secular nation, Americans are free to practice any religion they so choose, just as they may refrain from practicing any religion. Anyone claiming this is a Christian nation is either a liar, or embarrassingly ignorant. This is but one example of the great wisdom of our founders. ~The Majority of American Voters
