Description
I took Rue in as a foster at 9 weeks old so she wouldn’t be euthanized at the vet clinic I worked at. She’s 6 months now and has grown quite a bit learned a lot and is now ready for her forever family!
She is what is called a double merle. Both her parents were merle and this caused her to be born without hearing. She is otherwise completely healthy, and happy go lucky.
She knows a few hand signals, is crate trained, and potty trained (however you’ll need to teach her the basics at a new home and show her where to go.) Shes learned recall with a vibrate collar and does great with it! Loves car rides and usually looks out the window or naps. No problem behaviors what so ever. She loves people dogs and other animals. Well socialized!!
She is a dog that will require regular maintenance due to her coat type. I groom her myself as I was a groomer for many years, however you can learn to do it yourself or take her to a local groomer every 4-6 weeks depending on the haircut choice.
She is currently shaved down short so maintenance is minimal if any! However it will grow fast. :)
She is not spayed as I was waiting for her to stop growing to spay her. It is better for their joint health.
Would be an excellent family dog and addition. Feel free to email me with further questions.
