Elite Play Equipment, a company based in Raleigh, NC, is looking for Commercial Playground Installers to join our crew. Our projects include locations like parks, churches, schools, daycares, apartments and communities, for installations of equipment such as playgrounds, safety surfacing, picnic shelters, amenities as well as maintaining current playgrounds. As one of the playground installers, you will be part of an installation crew of 2-3 people. This role entails installing equipment throughout the year, coordinating and unloading freight deliveries, inspecting parts, loading, installing project equipment at the customer’s location, as well as working with excellent attitude and customer service. A background of knowledge in building or construction industries is necessary for proper project completion. You will need to be detail oriented, proactive, energetic, organized, trustworthy, responsible, reliable, physically active (This can be strenuous work and many of the pieces are large and heavy), flexible in hours and have the ability to drive a truck and/ or trailer. Job Details: - Salary: $15 - $20 an hour - Spanish speakers welcome - Full Time Job - Driver’s License Required - Reliable transportation - Criminal background check Duties and Responsibilities: - Preparation and cleaning of work areas and equipment - Maintenance of tools and equipment - Set up and preparation of necessary equipment and materials, as instructed - Loading and unloading of materials and tools - Assisting lead installers on site in a variety of ways - Lifting of heavy objects and working at various heights on a routine basis - Performance of related work as required - Ability to work both locally and out of state - Attendance and participation in all designated company meetings and trainings
