Viking Braggot Brewing and Southtowne Pub are seeking food and beverage pros and legends to assemble a small team for events and catering during the World Athletics Championships. Viking is excited to have the opportunity to give some big-name brands and athletics clubs a real taste of Eugene, and we are aiming to share the love amongst our industry family in the community! It’s all about top-notch hospitality and building quality relationships—we're committed to it! How about you? We’re looking for passionate professionals who take pride in their craft, are confident in their work ethic, and understand the value of structure and delegation—while still being creative and resourceful. The pressure will be on, some variables unknown; and even still, at every moment, punctuality will be paramount. If this excites you and gets you pumped...read on! Who we Need: FOH and BOH. It’s a small team, so it would be great if everyone has at least a little familiarity with both realms. That said, we’re looking for either or both. Folks with experience as any or all of the following: caterers, line & prep cooks, banquet cooks & servers, hotel reception, food truck or concessions workers, baristas, wait staff, camp counselors and tour guides, flight attendants, stage performers Team Players who are True Leaders (ie: those ever-ready to lead the charge, take initiative, and stay fit in any role necessary for team success) The “early is on time”-ers who also have a lot of patience Quick and light-footed powerhouses of stamina. We won’t put you in the races, but remember the event is 10 days. We’re contracted for 11 with multiple facets. Are you ready? What we’re doing: Serving about 2,000 Lunches, roughly 10,000 hors d’oeuvres, and LOTS of Beer and Beverages Featuring Food and Drinks from favorite establishments around Eugene, including Viking Braggot, of course! Working from a remote kitchen near campus and transporting food through credentialed checkpoints Offering competitive pay, bonuses, and tips. We’re long-time industry and looking to make this a sweet deal, a heavy-weighted bullet on your resume, and a blast of an experience for everyone involved.
