About This Role: Our Laborers work primarily on our jobsites to fill gaps between subcontractor trades and keep our projects moving safely, on-time and on-budget. Hours are usually 8am-4pm (M-F), 40-hours per week. On our workdays we: Observe all safety requirements on job sites, and actively seek to correct or report safety hazards Operate a variety of tools safely, including but not limited to: skill saw, impact, drill, nail guns & compressors Moving, securing, installing, building, and loading or unloading construction materials Assisting in the building or construction of various objects Effectively using heavy and light equipment, depending on the jobsite/assignment Moving dirt or other material as directed in plans or by the Project Manager Moving items from place to place, according to direction from the Project Manager Maintain a clean job site Perform other duties as assigned What You’ll Need to Succeed: 1-2 years’ hands-on experience in residential construction. (Carpentry experience strongly preferred) Comfortable working with hands and power tools Experience working with and interpreting blueprints Strong work ethic, reliability and dependability Ability to work with a team or independently Basic but effective communication skills required An a hard working attitude Physical Requirements: Frequent physical work including lifting, digging, bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing ladders, and using hand and power tools Lifting up to 100lb on occasion Standing and/or walking for extended periods of time Ability to work outdoors in cold and hot weather Riccon Construction LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
