hi all, i'm a 34 year old bassist looking to join a pop punk, emo or indie rock band. in the same late 20s-early30s age range some of my influences include: blink 182, new found glory, name taken, movements, taking back sunday, saves the day, starting line, jimmy eat world, glass animals, the xx, pinback, beach house, death cab, the strokes, passion pit.. and many many more i am also very into hip hop and dance music.. so the band could be solely one of those genres or a mix of a bunch of genres, i am very diverse but those are my favorites i have all the gear needed to play live - 3 basses, an amp + cab, wireless system (i like to run around on stage and go crazy, especially if the music is fast) i also have a home recording studio with all the latest programs and plugins including some analog gear (pre amp, compressors, eqs etc) and superior drummer so i can record high quality demos i recently graduated from icon collective college of music, here is an EP i recorded there, where you can hear my bass playing, songwriting, and recording/mixing skills: https://soundcloud.com/callitkarmarock/sets/anywhere-but-here
