Hi, my name is Ken, Yeah.. Thats right " OLD FART BAND ".. not that I have anything against young guys or gals.. I was a young-in at one time too ! I just dont need the DRAMA !.. no kids soccer practice, birthday parties etc.. You have got TO LOVE PLAYING !.. I am 72 years young and want one more fling before I leave this beloved earth. So go to the closet and get the dust off the old horns, mobile instruments or whatever you have been storing.! I am looking to start a N.O. type street band ! The key is to be very mobile so we can move from corner to corner if necessary. I am drummer /percussionist by trade and am looking for another drummer/ percussionist to help me out. I also play washboard ! Also looking for trumpets,tubas, trombones, sax, clarinets, jazz guitar if you can be mobile. Again, this is a NON paying gig.. we are going to do this for fun for family and friends. We are going to hang out in the town square and entertain the locals ! I can tell you this, if we are good musicians the rest will follow. So as I said before, go grab that instrument and give it one more try !
