Hours per week: FULL TIME Monday – Friday; some Saturdays and Sundays required during peak gardening season; position available immediately Compensation: Starting hourly rate negotiable based on experience; paid holidays upon hire, one week paid vacation after 6 months every 6 months; profit sharing bonuses begin after 1 year of employment; use of company vehicles during work hours. Reports to: Owner of Rita’s Roots – Rita Bachmann Primary Objective of Job: We are looking for our next all-in team member whose primary responsibilities are to lead the team on garden box and irrigation installations and to maintain Company sites – the Container Shop on King Street Extension in Charleston and the Nursery and show gardens in Summerville. Secondary duties include and are not limited to: seeding and potting up plants, watering plants, plant deliveries, construction + landscaping projects, basic auto maintenance + upkeep, greenhouse construction + maintenance, working plant sales and so on. Additional areas of the business will require help from this position based on seasonality.
