We are hiring 2nd shift shop helpers now! Pay is $14.50/hr to start!! Main Responsibilities: *Unload/Load steel products into machine *Help Machine Operator *Use polisher/grinder to smooth metal *Bend, stand and lift consistently *Must be able to read a tape measure and have basic math skills We are also hiring for 2nd shift press brake operators! 2nd shift position: 4pm-finish (possible overtime) Starting rate: $15.00-$16.50 an hour based on experience Responsibilities of the Brake Operator *Accurpress and Trumpf *Operate press brake machines. Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches. *Use a CNC controller to input information into machine. *Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints. *Check height, depth and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges and other precision-measuring instruments. *Work with tight tolerances.Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements. *Perform spot inspections of parts. *Perform all required routine and minor maintenance activities according to procedures. *Complete and maintain paperwork. *Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminum & regular steel). *Check machine for defects and repair if necessary.Ensure machine is calibrated and cleaned. *Read drawings and blueprints. We are also looking for 3rd shift material loaders! 3rd shift: Sunday-Thursday, 9pm- finish (working 8 to 12 hour nights) Pay based on experience: $14.50/hour to start. Essential (primary) functions include but are not limited to: *Load trucks in a safe and timely manner. Ensure that all orders are banded or wired. *Complete first article process on all orders *Drive tractor trailers on company property *Load each truck in sequence of its stops for off-loading at each destination *climbing up and down ladders to get on and off trailers numerous times a night *Must be able to walk, stand, sit, and apply all motor functions in order to perform the job *Previous warehouse experience with forklift and overhead cranes preferred *Must know how to read tape measure accurately *Good basic math skills including whole numbers, fractions and decimals *Heavy lifting to lift up to 50 pounds.
