Skilled Maintenance Technician needed for property management company

Investment Realty Holdings Inc is looking for an experienced and reliable Maintenance Technician to assist in maintaining our property management portfolio of 100 plus units. Properties are located in East Boston, Revere, Somerville, Medford, Malden, Cambridge and Brighton/Allston. We are looking for a long term minded individual to grow with our company. The ideal candidate will be dependable, self-motivated and organized. Spanish or Portuguese speaking are a plus! Job duties include but are not limited to: Assisting in completing all work orders from current tenants which can include: HVAC repairs, light carpentry, plumbing, building repairs, painting, landscaping, routine maintenance and basic appliance repairs. Also assisting in completing all work orders when turning over units, including conducting or participating in property inspections. Heavy lifting may occasionally be required. As an employee that will interact regularly with residents, prospective residents and subcontractors, all duties must be completed in a courteous and professional manner. Effective communication with residents and management are also extremely important. Must have the ability to organize work and complete tasks in a timely manner. Must maintain all records required by company policies and procedures, such as reporting hours, work done, closing tasks through the app and tracking expenses. Must be able to assist in snow removal as needed. Previous experience is required. Must have your own fully insured transportation and a valid drivers license.
