Dogs of any age can be trained! If your dog is over 5 months of age, whether or not you just graduated from Puppy Class, Just added a four-legged family member or are just getting started with training, this is the class for you! Maybe your dog already knows a thing or two but you now need that same attention with the distraction of other dogs and people; or maybe you are starting from scratch, this is the class for you! Our small class sizes allow us to make sure that your dog is challenged at the appropriate level. In Basic class, we will cover behaviors such as sit, down, wait, stay, come when called, walking nicely on a leash, “leave that alone,” “spit that out” and more! We will also start to add some distance, distraction, and duration to some of these behaviors and help incorporate everyday situations such as “wait there while I answer the door” or giving your dog the “OK” to “Go say hello” as well as “Wait there until further notice.” This 5-week, 50-minute class is open to any dog 5 months or older.
