I hold a Master's degree in Music from New England Conservatory and I teach students of all ages, levels, and styles. I have been teaching for over 15 years and currently teach at two music schools in Manhattan. My expertise includes the following styles: - Classical - Jazz - Rock - Pop - Blues For those interested, I also have extensive knowledge in theory and composition, which can be applied to any of the styles above. The direction you want to take and your current level will determine what we focus on, rather than having a pre-determined lesson plan. For example, we won't necessarily study improvisation if you're interested in classical music. If you're not entirely sure what you want to or need to learn, rest assured this is extremely common and I have developed my own method of helping students find where their real interests and talents lie. My rate is $60/hr and I hold lessons at my studio in Astoria, near the NW 30th Ave station and MRE Steinway station. The studio is well-ventilated and has certified HEPA air filtration.
