Sarasota Art Museum invites you to be our guest at Jazz Thursday at SAM! Join us for live jazz at Sarasota Art Museum, hosted by the Jazz Club of Sarasota, featuring The Ruckus Late Night’s! Join us every second Thursday from 5:30 pm – 8 pm for music and drinks on the Marcy & Michael Klein Plaza, and art in the galleries. Galleries are open until 7:00 pm on Jazz Thursdays. Sip on refreshing cocktails and enjoy small bites in the Bistro. Each month features a different style of jazz, from straight-ahead to free jazz, bebop to swing, and so much more. ABOUT THE RUCKUS LATE NIGHT'S Jazz drummer and multi-instrumentalist Rodney Ruckus spends his days as a music professor as well as the leader of the band The Ruckus Late Night’s. Ruckus gives a fresh take on jazz with his smooth fusion influence and fearless hip-hop essence.
