Description
I understand that every song, and every artist are unique. I like to get to know as much as I can about the artist and the song, their influences, their personality, what they sound like live, what the song is about, what the artist is aspiring to, and any other details I can find out. Then as I'm mixing, I try to find ways to bring the song to the next level based on what I've learned. I’m a professional, and I’m easy to work with. I’m responsive and easy to communicate with. I won’t hold back if I have ideas to contribute, but ultimately it’s up to you if we use them, and I don’t take it personally if we don’t. I just want to do the best I can to make the song special, unique, and a good representation of the artist. I’m not cheap, but it will be worth it to get what you want. My grandpa built one of the first recording studios in Milwaukee. Unfortunately, he passed away when I was very young. But one thing I learned from him is that recorded music outlasts us. What we create now will be heard by generations to come. What do you want your great grand kids to hear? How do you want to be remembered when all is said and done? I’m also a singer/ songwriter, and the last few years I’ve been focusing on some of my own music. But I still like to work with other people when I have time. I have some time over the summer, but I will be busy again in the fall. So hit me up! I charge $1000 per song, but consultations are free. If you want to check out my studio, grab coffee and chat a bit, or just get another pair of ears on your latest song, feel free to contact me. Thanks for reading! -Aaron Giese Geeztown Productions Here are a few mixes I’ve done of different styles of music. https://soundcloud.com/geeztownproductions/sets/demo-reel We had a great time recording our full length debut album with Aaron. He is present in every aspect of the production and will always be willing to offer constructive criticism when needed. He cares about the art and puts the music first. - Steve Rhoden (Handsome Midnight) I've worked on projects with Aaron for years and he takes suggestions as well as he gives them, which is something we've found to be invaluable in a producer. What separates Aaron from other producers is his desire for knowledge. He's always looking for a new approach and new way to present ideas. He's passionate about music more than anything. - Stephanie Thorup (The Phoenix Philosophy)
