Join the Black Nurses of Southern Maryland for our 1st Annual ATTR-CM 5K Walk/Run and Health Screening to raise awareness for hereditary Transthyretin Amyloid Cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM) - a serious and often underdiagnosed cause of heart failure in Black/African Americans. This is a free and family friendly event. There will be giveaways and raffles, health screenings and education, and an optional 5K (1.5miles) that you can walk/run/dance or just watch and cheer others along.
