A quality insurance inspector is responsible for quality process inspection of product using relevant measurement tools and devices. The individual is responsible for inspection of the product with decision making on acceptance or rejection reporting any findings not covered in the inspection procedures to the QA supervisor for further evaluation.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and tests on thread protectors utilizing gauges and instruments.
Understands and utilizes ISO 9001 quality system
Performs routine inspections on parts, of every work station, at least once an hour.
Maintains quality records, fills out forms, collects and dispenses scrap.
Education and Qualifications:
High School Graduate/GED
Mathematics and Technical Aptitude
Technical Data - API specifications
