Paul Mayberry, affectionately known as “Maybs”, has had many accomplishments, achievements and accolades in life and can be described by many words like teacher, mentor, counselor, coach and most importantly, friend. One very important fact about Maybs is that he is a son of Waltham, and we are calling out to this great city and to anyone else who knows Paul Mayberry to please help in raising funds to help this wonderful man. Currently, Paul is facing his toughest battle- he is in rehab, learning how to do simple things again, like walking. He is facing major medical and financial challenges, including dialysis, and is in need of a kidney transplant. I am asking us to all come together and help in this fundraiser for our friend. He is a proud man and has pushed back to allow this fundraiser to even take place. All proceeds from tickets sales and raffles will go to helping Paul with medical bills and equipment to help alleviate some of the financial stress he is facing. Even if you cannot attend, purchasing a ticket will still count as a donation and Paul will receive the funds. Buffet, raffle and live music are all included with the purchase of a ticket. We lend a helping hand to our people and this hand will help Paul immensely.
