Join NFL Hall of Famer Dallas Cowboy Drew Pearson at the beautiful Overton Hotel for dinner and a 90-minute program that will take attendees on a stroll through time celebrating 100 years of service for The Salvation Army in the Texas South Plains. Every attendee will enjoy a meal prepared in a cast iron pot that they can take home with them along with reminders about the life-changing impact The Salvation Army has made upon the millions of people it has served in West Texas since 1922. Special guest, Drew Pearson, will be there as well to provide some insight into his storied life, amazing football career and his ongoing connections with The Salvation Army and its programs. The event is celebratory in nature, however, it is also serving as a major fundraiser, as the funds raised through ticket/table sales will allow us to continue with providing hope and changing lives for people experiencing crisis right here in our community. We'll also be unveiling exciting expansion/growth plans that will carry the torch of hope on for another 100 years.
