Description
We will help your child continue to build their fine motor skills this summer while exploring their senses and having fun at the same time. All campers also get a Class T-shirt and a summer reading book included in their project supply box.Don't Delay, Registration Deadline is July 12th and class sizes are purposefully small. This year, class will be offered for two age groups: Ages 4-6 will meet from 9am - 10am. Ages 7-11 will meet from 10:30am - 11:30am All classes will be taught by Dr. Nadilus Rojas, a licensed Occupational Therapist and owner of Play Dates Therapy Center. All classes will be assisted by Tanai Goldwire, Mom of 4 special needs children and owner of The Braided Beauty.Each day of the camp we will teach the campers more about their five senses. Dr. Rojas will also introduce two senses we all have but most people are unaware of. A different project from your child's project supply box, included with your camp tuition, will be completed each day. Parent presence is required during your camper's class. Each session will begin with getting our campers wiggles out by guiding them through moving their bodies before we dive in to the sensory inspired project for the day. Monday: Touch Tuesday: SightWednesday: Hearing Thursday: Smell Friday: Taste All project materials are carefully separated by day for easy management. A BONUS PROJECT is also included in your child's project supply box for them to enjoy after camp has ended for the week.
