What do you want to be when you grow up?Don't you remember when you were "young"? (go back as far as necessary) Your parents asked, "what do you want to be when you grow up?". You began to think about it, you saw a vision of it in your mind, and you probably made a conscious decision to pursue that dream!
Kids are not asked this question anymore. Now they are aspiring to be what they see on TV or social media. False images appearing real.
Therefore, we are asking for you to bring your teens aged between 12-17 to the Run Entrepreneurial Conference. Where they will see and engage with those who turned their dream into a reality. We also invite those to listen on how that dream become a reality; the steps it takes to turn an idea in your head into something you can ultimately make money on. Last year, we allowed our teen entrepreneurs to interview small businesses and exhibitors in attendance
"What made you want to start your own business?"
"Are you happy doing what you are doing?"
"How do you know it's your passion?"
RBC Teen Entrepreneurs came to the conference not really knowing all the steps necessary to get started with their dream; however, by noon they were fully ENGAGED! And, by the end of the Conference, they were just as much the CONFERENCE as our women, veteran-owned businesses, and the media who were there in large numbers. Bring your teens where you can motivate them towards the next steps of greatness.
Not every kid will play in the NBA, NFL or become Heavyweight Champion of the world; however, they are all great. Let's help them RUN towards their passion.
