As a facilities technician, you are essential in assisting with indoor and outdoor facilities maintenance of our winery, which includes ~80,000 sq. feet of indoor guest, employee and production spaces, several outdoor patios and garden areas, as well as four parking lots. This is an integral support role and the perfect opportunity for someone who likes to stay active and be hands on. Working at our historic site, the day to day may include: Assist with repairs, modifications and preventative maintenance on the building, equipment, fixtures and systems, including, but not limited to: plumbing, HVAC, electrical and construction projects. Follow project plans, timelines and instructions set forth by the Director of Facilities Perform manual labor and assist in landscaping and janitorial cleaning duties Communicate frequently with Director of Facilities regarding project status, new/direct project requests or any potential problems. Qualifications Who we are looking for! High School diploma 1+ year of experience in construction, maintenance or facilities related role Competence and comfort utilizing power tools, working at elevated levels, and following manuals or written instructions Strong work ethic Ability to work in a dynamic environment Good English speaking and literacy skills Positive attitude with the ability to work well independently as well as with a team Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work schedule may vary based on project timelines and business conditions. Most work weeks will adhere to Monday –Friday. Time of day will be mutually agreed to by both parties.
