The United States Air Force Heartland of America Band is offering four (4) FREE family concerts. 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26 at Davies Amphitheater in Glenwood IA.7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 28 at Sumtur Amphitheater in Papillion NE. 7:00 p.m. Wednesday June 29 at Bayliss Park in Council Bluffs IA. 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 1 at Rockbrook Village Shopping Center in Omaha NE.Join the Heartland of America Band as they celebrate America and commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Air Force with “The Sounds of Freedom” concert series. This production will feature musical selections ranging from rock-n-roll, country, jazz, classic American, and today’s popular music; the Heartland Band will showcase the Air Force’s excellence, precision, and innovation. This production will also include a selection of America’s greatest musical hits from the 40’s era of the Air Force’s beginnings all the way up to today. As they commemorate both America’s and the Air Force’s pioneering spirit, the Heartland Band will also pay respect to our nation’s veterans by performing a patriotic tribute in honor of their military service.
