Relevant Experience: Veterinary Tech Assitant: Interacted with pet owners and worked with veterinarians. • Feed, weigh, bathe, and take the temperature of dogs. Help give medication, clean cages, and help restrain animals during treatment or other medical procedures as needed. • Calls for compassion, good communication skills, fine attention to detail, and empathy. Animal Sanctuary Volunteer: Cared for various exotic animals living in the sanctuary (Kinkajous, Ferrets, Snakes, Alligator, Cats) • Experience in handling different species and responding to their physical, nutritional, emotional, and behavioral needs. Animal Rescue Volunteer: Daily feeding and grooming of bunnies and maintenance of their litter cages. • Consistent interaction with and nurturing of animals (play and wellness checks)
