At this next meeting on July 12, the Affordable Housing Task Force arm of the AIR Advocacy Committee will continue to plan for ACTION from our previous monthly roundtable discussions.
Let’s come together again on Tuesday, July 12 at 6pm at 12 Bones in the River Arts District to plot the Affordable City path. Let's discuss how we can do our part to help solve Asheville’s affordable housing crisis. We need fresh approaches and action items that we can participate in, and tools we can create to help our employees be able to afford to live here. Let our resilient attitudes create a model we can put into action and then model for the country.
Everyone is welcome! You do not have to have attended the first four roundtable discussions to attend this meeting. The more strategic minds we can have at the table the better, so please share this Eventbrite link.
Angela and Bryan of 12 Bones will provide us with the space, and we encourage all attendees to bring a potluck item to nourish our bodies and our brains for action. Beer and drinks will be available for purchase from 12 Bones.
We look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday, July 12, 6pm at 12 Bones in the River Arts District.
Cheers!
