We were both buying beer at a Pottstown grocery store on Tuesday evening. My $20 bill wasn’t passing the counterfeit test (wtf!) and I didn’t feel like walking back to car where I had my debit card. You offered to pay in such a genuinely kind way. I thanked you again in the parking lot, and we wound up talking for a bit in your truck. It was refreshing and reminded me of the good in the world. I’ve been so lonely. Sharing secrets with a stranger took a huge weight off my chest. I just want you to know that you made an impact on me.
