Come hang with us THIS SATURDAY NIGHT for a Summer Solstice Celebration! I know, I know...it's gonna be HOT...but we've got beer...FREE BEER from @bigripbrewingco! **Bring your own picnic ** and enjoy a summer evening on the urban farm with hogs, chickens, and a whole bunch of (thirsty, heat stressed) crops! Tour our composting facility and see how your food waste is transformed into healthy food and soil for the community. Farm to table - table to farm - and all over again. It's an essential circle that brings life to the soil and keeps harmful emissions out of the atmosphere. So freakin' cool!!! This is a zero waste event (of course!!). All of your picnic scraps will be composted. --> + your own reusable cup & dish ware/utensils --> If you don't bring reusable dish ware, paper napkins, paper plates and BPI Certified Compostable dish ware & utensils are accepted. We'll have compost bins around, but you can also just toss your scraps to our voracious pastured chickens!! **All Ages Welcome! ** Bring the kiddos, we'll have lots of fun yard games!
