ACC is an Islamic nonprofit organization that provides interest free loans for higher education. As students repay the loans, the funds are recycled to future students over and over again, and thus the name A Continuous Charity. By partnering with local communities, the Pennsylvania chapter raises funds to provide to students in the region. Within ACC, there is also the concept of a legacy fund in which a community can establish their own fund to be managed by ACC in which funds will always be returned back to that community. This event serves to educate the Sudanese youth about the benefits of starting a community education fund via a Zoom PowerPoint presentation, as well as provide a platform for anyone attending to share causes that matter to them for possible future community meetings. ------------------------------------------------------- As mentioned above, we hope this event serves as a platform for anyone in the community to present on any ideas or announcements they might have.
