Hi! We're moving from DC to the Lake Tahoe area of northern California. We need to get our car out west. And we figured there may be someone in the DC area who wants the great American road trip and would appreciate a free car "rental". If so, we could have a win-win! The car is a 2010 Toyota Highlander. Seats 7, and has plenty of room for cargo. Only 80K miles and no mechanical issues. A great family road trip car! If your final destination is the San Francisco Bay Area, (or Sacramento or Reno) we could also meet you there to pick up the car at the end. The soonest the car can leave DC is Monday the 27th. The latest it can arrive in California is around July 20th (exact date negotiable). Interested? Please send a short note describing who would be driving, if you have a clean driving record, and when you would plan to arrive in CA. And if we work out a deal we'll need copies of your ID, and you'll need to sign an agreement to return the car and take responsibility for fixing any new damage that might occur along the way.
