Jam with a Pro Drummer

Description

Hey guys, I'm a drummer that's been on the road for the better part of the last 10 years. I've done the hired gun thing for bands of all shapes, sizes, and genres - major label acts as well as indie. I was thinking there might be some interest out there for people who are looking to jam, whether you're just starting or have been playing for a while. I know it's hard to find people to play with, let alone someone who's any good. Besides that, I'm super patient and not going to shame you no matter what level you're at. I teach lessons as well and am extremely laid back and encouraging, you don't have to worry about any ego with me. Here's some review of me as a teacher: https://www.thumbtack.com/ca/los-angeles/drum-lessons/nicks-music-lessons/service/135055536669025499 I have a studio with everything we'd need to jam, including drums, amps, vocal mics, etc. I'd be happy to help you work through songs you're writing, play covers with you, or just play and practice improvising. I also have the ability to record whatever we do, so we can capture any ideas we stumble upon. We could eventually flesh that out and I know other great players if you want to play/record with other pros. I once heard Victor Wooten say that the way we learn music should be the same as the way we learned to speak. When we learn to speak, we're surrounded by people who are masters of the language, who converse with us and smile at us when we make mistakes. I aim to teach in the same way. Since I do need to cover the cost of the space and my time I was thinking I would charge the same as what I charge for lessons - $60/hr. Here's my website: https://www.nickspreigl.com/ Here's a video series I made while I was on a tour in the UK before covid hit: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLOCtggwksIcqahy56yWI64aCyr5PEJV6H Hoping someone will find this helpful! -Nick
