Scarsdale Synagogue Temples Tremont and Emau El located at 2 Ogden Road Scarsdale, NY 10583 has been awarded multiple grants from the DHSES to help protect ourselves from Hate Crime incidents
We are asking for bids from interested contractors and vendors to provide the following:
- Training of our staff & clergy focusing on emergency evacuations, first aid, security training & developing best practices protocols.
- Bids for the application of blast mitigating film onto multiple windows of our building.
- Installation of a video surveillance system
- Replacement of our alarm system
- Installing intrusion resistant doors replacing the ones being used by our classrooms currently.
- Installation of multiple light poles in our parking lot
- Installation of large planters to act as a physical barrier against vehicular impacts
- Installation of an additional Access Control System.
- Installation of door actuators on multiple exit doors.
Of particular interest are vendors who are MWBE recognized by NYS. However, it is not a requirement.
