Description
Perhaps you are young. When I was a child, gas ranges were all the rage. They were billed as cheaper than electricity, cleaner to manufacturer, and we were taught in school the supply of petroleum was endless and would last longer than mankind. Now my gas bill is only second to my property taxes.
Yes, electricity is now the rage, and when the corporate leaders have their way, and it becomes the monopoly, it too will skyrocket in price, and no more petroleum fueled autos will exist to even turn back to.
I have a 50 year old furnace in my home. It has worked flawlessly. I have had it serviced twice in fifty years, both for minor wiring issues. Now the corporate leaders, the enormously rich billionaires that control our land have convinced our government to enact legislation that the old furnaces must be eliminated, no matter how mechanically sound, and will even invent gas outlets that will no longer work in the old ones. So, thanks to these corporate giants that know better, I must ditch a perfectly fine furnace that should have lasted longer than I will, and buy a new one at God only knows what price. My furnace is as extinct as my VCR. lmao It's always something.
