DETROIT, MI — A Detroit man has been arraigned following accusations he shot three people at a gas station on 7 Mile and Woodward Saturday, leaving one person dead. Wayne County Prosecutors said Kayon Wilson-Ollis, 22, was arraigned over the weekend on eight felonies, including first-degree premeditated murder, four counts of felony firearm, two counts of assault with intent to murder and one count of fourth-degree fleeing and eluding police. According to prosecutors, Wilson-Ollis was at a gas station at 7 Mile and Woodward around 5:30 p.m. Saturday when he shot a 37-year-old man, a 41-year-old woman and a 17-year-old man. The 37-year-old man died at a local hospital, while the other two shooting victims survived, prosecutors said. Wilson-Ollis did not know the people he's accused of shooting Saturday, according to prosecutors. Detroit police officers arrested Wilson-Ollis about 15 minutes after the shooting at a strip mall near the shooting scene, prosecutors said. Wilson-Ollis is scheduled to appear in court again Jan. 6 for a probable cause conference. A preliminary examination is slated for Jan. 13.
