To learn more: Position Summary: In accordance with Axis Residential LLC. standards, address and complete resident service requests, work orders and assigned maintenance tasks. Ensure that the Affinity Community you serve is properly maintained while building lasting rapport with the community residents. **Covid-19 Vaccination is required for this position, for medical and religious exemptions please contact our Human Resources team** Job responsibilities: • Respond to all service requests and work orders to ensure the repair and maintenance of property facilities and units are completed in a timely and professional manner consistent with the standards set forth by the maintenance supervisor • Assist with daily inspections of the building and grounds to ensure the safety of residents and the protection of the building asset; items in need of attention must be directed to the attention of the maintenance supervisor • Assist with, at the direction of the maintenance supervisor, work related to maintenance, work orders and unit turnovers • Follow a preventative maintenance schedule as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor • Provide evening, weekend, and holiday emergency service when required • Repair and maintain equipment owned by the community • Assist in painting apartments and community common areas • Complete ground’s maintenance such as trash pick-up, landscaping, power washing common areas, carports, and buildings • Wash the pool deck with fresh water weekly • Assist with appliance repair (and if necessary) replacement • Perform, or assist with the hanging of new light fixtures and ceiling fans, overhead kitchen lighting, etc., this includes light fixtures in vaulted ceilings • Assist in maintaining pool equipment, including pool chemical monitoring • Build strong rapport with all residents of the community • Comply with all Axis Residential LLC. policies and procedures • Comply with all Fair Housing laws Skills and Qualifications: • High School diploma or equivalency certificate, • Valid drivers’ license and insured operable vehicle (Note: Drivers’ license required for golf cart use for this property), • Preferred experience in residential property management, hotel maintenance, construction, electrical, plumbing, or painting, • May be required to provide and maintain own tools, • Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English, • Job duties require the use of a respirator – the candidate must be Medically Fit for Duty, Cleared to Wear a Respirator.
