Potential Housing Available! $27.50 - $40.38 per hour Apply at: The Town of Breckenridge Public Works Department Fleet Division is seeking a dedicated and customer service oriented individual for the position of Fleet Supervisor. The individual in this position performs and assists the Fleet Manager in the supervision and responsibility of the various operations of the Fleet Division, including, but not limited to: staffing, training, and performance evaluations; Fleet safety, compliance, and regulatory procedures; Purchasing of Fleet supplies, equipment, and vehicles; Supervision of out-sourced repairs, suppliers and associated vendors; Fleet asset management, work order triage, shop operations, service records, parts inventory, fuel inventory; and performing hands on repair and preventative maintenance services on light and heavy equipment, Town vehicles, specialty power equipment, attachments, and shop tools and equipment. The incumbent also performs various welding design and fabrication projects. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED 3 or more years experience in the field of vehicle and/or motorized equipment mechanical repair. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/LICENSES/EXPERIENCE: Five years' progressively responsible experience in the repair and maintenance of motorized vehicles and mechanical equipment is preferred. Graduation for a certified trade or technical school in the area of fleet repair and maintenance is highly desired. Evidence of experience in a lead-worker or supervisory capacity in a fleet environment is preferred. Knowledge of Fleet software such as asset management and fuel systems desired. LICENSES, CERTIFICATES OR EQUIPMENT REQUIRED: Valid driver's License and acceptable motor vehicle report Valid CDL with Class B, P2 Endorsement or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire Valid Federal Motor Carriers (FMCSR) Medical Examiners Certificate or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire. Qualified Annual Vehicle Inspector Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days Underground Storage Tank Operator Certification or ability to obtain as required to meet the organization's need. Motor Vehicle Air Conditioning Certification section 608 and 609 or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment or as required to meet organization needs. ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING Successful applicants are required to meet the DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements, pass a pre-employment drug screen; have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record, pass a drug and alcohol release from previous employers (if applicable), and complete a background check and reference check. The incumbent may also be subject to random drug and alcohol testing requirements. This position is considered safety sensitive (per DOT regulations).
