Let me try this again... maybe if I make him sound worse than he actually is, not just everyone but the right SOMEONE will want to invest the time and energy into taking him into their home. One year old male Akita up for rehoming. AKC The last thing anybody should be considering from this ad is how cute he is. He is pretty cute, but trust me, the last thing that will matter when bringing him into your home, is how he looks!!!! Now, on to the real issue.... He is good with us! He is balanced and comfortable here. He is going to need an EXPERIENCED Akita person, preferably a couple without children and other pets. He is used to us and we prefer not to place him in a home with children as we cannot predict how he will act in a new environment. With that said, all of his siblings that were placed in homes as young pups are normal, balanced, happy, and over all well balanced. We know he is capable of that same balanced temperament IF GIVEN THE CHANCE!!! But it is going to take more than two-three days for him to adjust to his new home. We are seeking someone who understands that his transition is going to be a process and it will take weeks, even months for him to become balanced and comfortable in his environment like he is here. We will only be placing him locally, within an hours drive from us, to ensure the worst case scenario of him needing to be returned. IF YOU THINK you are capable and are willing to help him live a fulfilling life, please inquire. If you do not match the prior criteria, please do not inquire. But if you have experience with this breed, have the time and willingness to help balance him in the big world away from the our home, we would love to talk to you.
