You’ll be:Operating fermenters and sterilizersPerforming sampling, anti-foam, and inoculation procedures following established process descriptions, batch sheets, and job analysis while ensuring that fermentation is within parameters testing and using instrumentation for pH, temperature, pressure, DO, and air.Operating and performing tasks for SIP and fill of fermenters via sterilizer, understanding general procedures for SIP, CIP and fills, sterilizer fluids (product, water, steam), and sterile water forward, water divert and product fills.Understanding and selecting fermenters on FIX using FIX screens, graphical displays, real time trends, and historical charts. Calibrates pH transmitters, pH and DO probes. This job might be an outstanding fit if you:Are able to work a rotating shift between days and nights on a 2-2-3 set rotation of 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off, etc.Are capable of lifting up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basisHave a High School Diploma or GEDHave a minimum of 1 year of fermentation or related plant operator experienceWhat happens next Once you apply, you’ll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
