Urethane Technician (Tomball, Texas) Basic Overview: Pigging and pipeline service Company in Tomball is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill a Urethane / Casting position. The Urethane Technician is responsible for urethane open molding operations and assemblies. Full time work, standard work schedule. The Primary Duties and Responsibilities for this position are: • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve overall objectives of the position • Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions • Ability to use of hand and power tools • Identify and communicate technical problems • Perform tasks and tests with minimal instruction and documentation • Assist co-workers as needed to meet daily priorities, coverage and projects • Ability to learn new processes and procedures quickly • Safely operate a forklift and other shop equipment • Maintain a clean and organized work area • Promote a safe and positive work environment • Work well in a team environment Requirements for this position are: • Must be proficient in basic math skills • Willing to take a drug test in accordance with local law/regulations. • Urethane / Elastomers experience preferred • Good communication skills • Pipeline pigging and pipeline knowledge is a major advantage. • Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred. Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close-up vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. • The environment is a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, solvents, vapors, moving mechanical parts, and moderate noise levels. • Requires frequent bending, standing, and walking throughout shift. • Must be able to push, lift and pull up to 50 lbs. repetitively during shift. • Requires standing and walking 100% of shift on a concrete floor.
