NW Construction General Contracting, Inc. is seeking general laborers to add to our team. These individuals would have opportunity to work on prevailing wage projects and other projects that are primarily local. The Position Duties of this position would include, but not be limited to shoveling, raking, lifting/bending/stooping, utilities tools, and pipe laying in the scope of performing tasks onsite. Common site tasks include grading of trenches or culverts, pipe positioning or joint sealing, erosion control, demolition clean up and more. What we are looking for - Reliability - Honesty & integrity - Hard working & diligent - Ability to follow directions - Ability to work safely and efficiently - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance - Team player with a can do attitude - At least one year experience in the construction field preferred, but not required - Experience in setting grade or laying pipe highly desired Pay & Benefits Bi-Weekly pay schedule (every two weeks) Private wage DOE Prevailing Wage when on public works projects Health Insurance offered after 60 days with company contribution Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening Must be able to pass criminal background check Must be a authorized to work in the United States Ways to Apply Respond to this ad requesting application Request an application at our Battle Ground office
