Hi, I’m Fox, a cattle dog mix who looks just like a fox. I’m 5 and very well trained. I live on a farm but have lived in a house with a big fenced yard too. I love hiking, running, fetch, to sit in the sun, to bask by the warm fire, and road-trips. I’m a very loyal and intelligent dog. My owners have loved me and cared for me all these years. They even sent me away to Flash Dog Training where I learned how to be good on my E-collar, know my “place”, walk on a leash, and sleep in a kennel. But even with all this training I still feel anxious in my own home. We have 4 kids and a busy household and there’s always kids coming and going and it’s too much for me. I get anxious and bark and nip at ankles when I feel overwhelmed. I need a new quiet home without children. And probably cats because I like to chase them. I love other dogs but my ideal home would be without any dogs. I play well with other dogs but too much chaos is hard on me. I’m good at road-trips but also am used to being boarded when my owners are away. I’m up to date on shots and always go to the vet each year for check ups. My family is very sad to see me go, and will only give me to a perfect home. My ideal he would be a farm or with someone active. I need a fenced yard or property to roam. I will not do well with only neighborhood walks, I love to run. My owners work from home and I’m excellent company but I also do well for a few hours at a time on my own. I need to be with someone who will keep up my training, give me lots of exercise and help me be the best dog I can be.
