We are in need of volunteers at Bethany Hospice! In order to provide the best possible care that we can we depend on volunteers like you! Ages 13-100+ can volunteer and opportunities include visiting patients in the home or at facilities, providing short respite for caregivers, helping with administrative work in the office, leading games at facilities (bingo, butterbean auctions, etc), or making/baking gifts and treats (knit hats, lap blankets, etc). All volunteers under age 18 must have signed parental consent. All adult volunteers must pass a background check and get fingerprints recorded. Our Mission: To promote and facilitate the highest possible quality of life during a life-limiting illness. To ably and compassionately assist families during the bereavement process, and to continuously exemplify the hospice philosophy of preserving patient choice and patient dignity.
