Tree Climber and Grounds Crew Needed Climber Responsibilities: Responsible for climbing, pruning, and removing trees on residential and commercial properties. Properly prepare, maintain and safely operate all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, skidsteer, and climbing gear. Operates as part of a crew supporting the Crew Foreman Climber Qualifications: Climbing experience utilizing rope and saddle when pruning, knowledge of knots, chainsaw operation. Experience with Aerial Lifts desired. Driver’s License required with clean driving record preferred. Experience with driving non-CDL trucks with trailers. Experience with crew management, training, customer service, and safety procedures is highly valuable. Grounds Responsibilities: Uses hand lines to lower limbs and equipment. Unloads lays out, prepares, and stows materials, tools, and equipment at the worksite. Works from the ground using handsaws, poles saws. Drives trucks, loaders and operates other equipment as assigned such as log movers, etc.. Participates in weekly safety meetings and daily job briefings. Grounds Qualifications: Operates and maintains chainsaws, and all other equipment in a safe manner A clean valid Driver’s License is preferred. Must be able to carry 50lbs at a minimum and work outside in all weather conditions Our grounds people average $180 to $225 per day. Climbers average $450 per day
